  • Shepherd Christian Community is located in the town of Frostproof on 85 acres with 1200 ft of lakefront on beautiful Lake Reedy.
  • Disney World  is an hours drive away.
  • Beaches on the east and west costs are within 2 hours driving.
  • It also has a small Lake Lorraine within its property for catch and release fishing.
  • Two hospitals are only 20 miles away.
  • Various churches, grocery stores, banks, post office, restaurants and other facilities are available within 3 miles of driving distance.
  • An assembly of Christians, generally known as “the Brethren” hold their weekly meetings in the Chapel building located in Shepherd and it is governed by a board of elders.  Other spiritual activities are planned and conducted by the church from time to time.
  • Frostproof is known as the “Citrus Capital” of the world due to thousands of acres of orange groves in and around the city.
