SCC is a community living center with short and long term living facilities for enjoyment, spiritual fellowship and growth.

The Community is located in Frostproof, Florida which is about an hour driving distance from Orlando and an hour and a half from Tampa.

Shepherd Christian Community is located in the town of “Frostproof” on an 85 acre with 1200 ft of Lake Front to Lake Reedy. Disney World park is an hour driving distance. Beaches on the east and west costs are within 2 hours driving. It also has a smaller lake (Lake Lorraine) within its property.

Ben Bradford had a dream. Some day, with the Lord’s help, he would find the ideal spot on which to develop a retirement community. It would be a place where retired Christians could live in peace and contentment, away from the noise and clamor of large cities.
